Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Data QA\Test Engineer to join our Data Tribe.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency with SQL
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Plan and execute of quality assurance activities throughout the development life cycle conforming to test strategy and best practices
- Experienced in creating Test Plans, Test Designs, Test Strategy Specifications, Test Cases and Scenarios.
- Experienced in raising, tracking and retesting defects.
- Experienced in test estimation
- Work collaboratively with offshore teams and interact with business stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing practice
- Ability to learn new things, ability to gain expertise in complex business systems quickly with attention to detail
- Demonstrable leadership experience in coaching and mentoring people to reach a common goal
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Excellent team player
Key Capabilities/Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience performing software testing within a structured software development cycle
- Data warehouse / ETL testing experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Programming skills in C#/Python
- Sound understanding and experience in Agile/waterfall frameworks and practices
Nice to Haves
- Banking and finance industry experience
- Test Automation experience
- ISTQB certification
