Our company seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Project Manager to oversee the company’s projects, including software development and business process changes. You should have a proven successful project management track record and substantial team leadership experience. You will work closely with stakeholders, internal clients, and Software Development team members to continuously improve the existing processes and ensure efficient and timely initiation, planning, and successful delivery of business-critical applications. You will also work closely with business departments to assess their goals, plan process changes, implement new processes and software, and ensure business goal achievement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while applying the organization's methodology
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business goals and requirements and ensure that project and business objectives are aligned
  • Plan tasks for business experts and software development teams that achieve the business objectives, manage both business and software development team members
  • Achieve the business objectives of the project
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including scope, schedule, risk, issue and change management, and status reports
  • Ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved
  • Participate in meetings and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes and tools
  • Comply with relevant policies and practices relating to training and development, including a regular development appraisal

Qualifications, qualities, and skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Project management role, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying complexity and size
  • Experience in managing business-oriented projects, optimizing business processes, and implementing changes to achieve business goals
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience developing requirements, understanding the team's obstacles, and ways to clear them out to achieve the project’s goal  
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership skills: the ability to motivate and lead a team, make decisions, and resolve conflicts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: effective communication with the team, customers, and other stakeholders in the project
  • Organizational skills: the ability to plan, structure, and control the execution of the project.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills: the ability to assess the situation, analyze information and make informed decisions
  • Upper-Intermediate + in English; knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a must
