We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialization. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working in-office per week. This role will be based at our HQ in Solon, Ohio.

The Role: 

MRI is the leader in PropTech, with a mission to connect communities through the first AI-first, open and connected platform. Contract Intelligence is a marquee AI product of MRI, and we are working to infuse AI features across our entire suite of Products. We are looking for a AI/ML Engineer to help us accomplish this mission.  

 

You Will:

  • As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be collaborating closely with product managers, AI scientists and engineers to design, prototype, implement generative AI models, descriptive and predictive analytics, ML, and forecasting models 

  • Partner with teams to identify and explore opportunities for the application of machine learning, predictive analytics, and forecasting and Generative AI 

  • Research and implement various LLMs, use of RAG and Text-To-SQL patterns and other generative AI techniques to improve the performance and capabilities of AI models. 

  • Work with engineers to architect and develop operational models that run at scale 

  • Build and deploy AI/ML models including data preparation/processing pipelines, machine learning orchestrations, deployments, scalability, improvements of services performance and reliability. 

  • Prepare database queries and visualizations for use in data analysis and statistical modeling 

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, and contribute modeling and programming expertise as a team player 

  • Keep track of emerging tech and trends, research the state-of-art statistical and deep learning models, prototype new modelling ideas, and conduct offline and online experiments. 

You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Math/Computer Science, or a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 2+ years of industry work experience in SQL, Python to implement statistical models, machine learning, and analysis (Recommenders, Prediction, Classification, Clustering, etc.) preferably in a big data environment 

  • 2+ years of industry experience in building production-grade software applications 

  • 2+ years of industry experience with AI/ML frameworks, with all aspects of model training, tuning, deploying, serving, and monitoringPyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow are a plus. 

  • 2+ years of industry experience with database query, visualization, and analysis tools such as Power BI and Jupyter notebooks 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication to educate and work with cross functional teams 

  • Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data 

  • Be motivated, self-driven in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record demonstrating impact across several teams and/or organizations. 

  • Strong background in machine learning technology, especially in the field of Deep Learning / Deep Neural Networks, NLP, OCR, NER, ML frameworks 

  • Experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Cosmos 

  • Experience in big data systems such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark 

  • Experience in software engineering roles and development experience in Java, C#, or similar programming languages is a plus. 

  • Solid understanding in software engineering best practices, with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab/GitHub, Shell scripting etc. 

  • Experience with Azure cloud services, AKS, Cognitive services, MLOps, Azure Data Framework is a big plus.
