Cloud Discovery Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cloud Discovery Engineer (Cloud Engineer) on behalf of our client, a global cybersecurity leader dedicated to protecting our digital way of life. This role is designed for an engineer with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructures and API integrations. Joining the Cloud Discovery R&D group, you will develop new ingestion solutions that transform the future of cloud security and expand capabilities for their Next-Gen SOC platform. You will work in a fast-paced environment with short decision loops, collaborating closely with global engineering, product, and security research teams.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance: Expand cloud ingestion capabilities and coverage for the security platform.

• Deliver: Own the implementation, quality, and delivery of cloud services in an agile environment.

• Standardize: Set high-quality technical standards and select architectural solutions that scale.

• Collaborate: Work across global technical and research teams to bridge technical gaps and streamline data flows.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in cloud environments.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of various Cloud Service Providers, their structure, and best practices.

• Integrations: Hands-on experience working with REST APIs.

• Tools: Proficiency in version control systems.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.

Prefered:

• Hands-on software development experience in a modern programming language.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional diploma
