About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Algorithm Engineer to join our R&D teams and develop advanced algorithms for mission-critical systems of national importance.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of mathematical theory, algorithm development, and software engineering. You will take ownership of algorithmic solutions end-to-end — from understanding system requirements and developing mathematical models, through implementation and integration, to verification, validation, and performance evaluation.
You will tackle challenging problems in areas such as signal processing, inertial navigation, sensor fusion, estimation, optimization, and AI/ML, while working closely with software, systems, and research teams.
What You'll Do
Design and develop advanced algorithms from concept through production.
Translate complex system requirements into effective algorithmic solutions.
Solve challenging mathematical, statistical, and computational problems.
Implement algorithms in C++ and integrate them into existing software systems.
Develop simulations, prototypes, and algorithmic models using MATLAB and/or Python.
Verify, validate, and evaluate algorithm performance against defined requirements.
Investigate existing solutions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, researchers, and multidisciplinary R&D teams.
Contribute to the development of mission-critical technologies with real-world impact.
Explore and integrate AI and Machine Learning techniques where relevant to project needs.
Core Technical Areas
Depending on the project and team, you may work on problems involving:
Signal Processing
Inertial Navigation Systems (INS)
Sensor Fusion
Estimation & Tracking
Optimization
Statistical and Mathematical Modeling
AI / Machine Learning
Computer Vision
What We're Looking For
Required
3+ years of experience in algorithm development or a closely related field.
We are flexible on years of experience for exceptionally strong candidates.
Strong, hands-on C++ development experience.
Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.
Practical experience in at least one of the following:
Signal Processing
Inertial Navigation Systems
Sensor Fusion
Estimation
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently investigate complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Strong software development orientation, with the ability to turn algorithms and mathematical concepts into robust, production-ready code.
Your Profile
This role involves a significant learning curve and long-term investment in professional development. We are looking for people who are:
Curious and genuinely interested in understanding complex technical problems.
Excited by deep mathematical and algorithmic challenges.
Fast learners who enjoy diving into new domains.
Comfortable moving between theory, experimentation, and production code.
Persistent and independent in solving difficult problems.
Looking for a long-term opportunity where they can build deep expertise and grow with the team.
Why Join Us?
Work on mission-critical systems of national importance.
