Description
We are looking for a passionate cloud security engineer with solid experience in Google Cloud to build, maintain, upgrade and continuously improve cloud network and cloud-based system security. As a member of the infrastructure team, you are responsible for the operations of secure cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software, streamline existing deployments and design new systems to run our systems at scale. As an infrastructure specialist, you will build out existing initiatives, optimize our cloud usage, and help design new cloud projects. At Infinitus, you will:
- Work at a cutting edge conversational AI company.
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures - components, systems, networking, accounts, integrations, recommend improvements to the existing infrastructure.
- Analyze current cloud configuration, identify potential risks and help design solutions to mitigate them.
- Work cross functionally on infrastructure changes and improvements.
- Analyze and manage cloud firewalls configuration in efforts to raise the security posture of cloud components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the security of Infinitus service platforms.
- Build monitoring systems for deployed software and streamline the incident response process.
- Logging, monitoring, and responding to detected incidents in the cloud environment.
- Work with SIEM solution in efforts to onboard all critical logs as well as configure alerts
We are looking for someone who:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
- Has 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying infrastructure for a large scale software product.
- Has 2+ years of experience as a security engineer, site reliability engineer or security consultant.
- Has 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing and configuring infrastructure security controls in Google Cloud Platform environment.
- Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing
- Experience with microservice architecture, containerization, cluster orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Terraform.
- Experience with setting up logging, alerting, metrics, and SIEM infrastructure controls.
- DevOps know-how: building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies.
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
Nice to have:
- Experience at an early-stage startup.
- Working knowledge of Go, Python, C++ or Java Script.
