Software Development Engineer in Test

At Infinitus, you will:

• Work at a cutting edge conversational AI company.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather requirements.
• Break those requirements down into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Help us implement best practices for test automation, code coverage, establish test suites, regression runs, certifying builds, load and stress tests as necessary.

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a role as an SDET or similar position, with a proven track record of automating functional, regression, performance, and load tests.
• Experience testing web-based applications and websites, with expertise in systems built in Javascript/Typescript and/or Go.
• Experience in testing web-based applications and websites, including UI testing and cross-browser compatibility testing in React-based applications.
• Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools in the JavaScript ecosystem, such as Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium or similar tools.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket testing.
• Ability to write and implement detailed test cases, test plans, and test design documents.
• Knowledge of git branching, tagging, and code deployment best practices.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with load testing tools, such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust, and the ability to design and execute load and performance tests.
• Proven experience in architecting and building/customizing a test framework from scratch.
• Experience with Docker-based workloads using Kubernetes or other orchestration software on Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience in optimizing test runs and adding sanity tests to deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or CircleCI or anything similar.
• Experience with audio technologies and protocols, such as WebRTC, and testing voice-based RPA systems.
• Understanding of Typescript/Javascript and dynamic frontend fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of API testing techniques and tools, such as Postman or similar tools.
