Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network. This role requires expertise in managing complex network environments and ensuring optimal operation and scalability.

• Design, configure and manage network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Implement and monitor network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and other means to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
• Optimize network performance by monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, both proactively and reactively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, standards, and policies.
• Plan and execute network expansions, upgrades, and improvements to meet the growing needs of the organization.
• Ensure the network follows industry best practices, as well as any regulatory or compliance standards. 

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Deep understanding of networks and hands-on experience in large scale environments.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus (preferably 9000 series) and Fabric Extenders technology - a MUST.
• Understanding of Leaf-Spine topology and VXLAN - a MUST.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with cloud networking (mainly AWS) - an Advantage.
• Certifications such as CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft and Linux networking.
• Attention to details and excellent documentation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
