Job Description

We’re looking for a Project Manager responsible for successful delivery on professional service engagements for our Strategic Customers. The Project Manager will manage internal and external resources to successfully and profitably deliver service engagements on time and on budget. This role is a balance of independent work where you’ll own and develop multiple new accounts at a time, and will also partner with Professional Services Consultants, Delivery teams, Strategic Sales counterparts, Product, and other Customer Success team members to help your clients onboard and grow with Procore.

 

As a successful Project Manager, you have a consultative mindset and can quickly understand both Procore’s Technology and the industries we serve. You will apply best practices and solutions to each client based on their individual business processes and goals. You’ll be instrumental in planning clients’ services and developing roll-out strategies then executing against their plan and pulling in appropriate resources to complete the projects on time and on budget. Leveraging this consultative approach, you will deliver Industry, Technology and Change Management thought leadership while encompassing Procore’s values of Openness, Optimism, and Ownership.

 

To build successful relationships with our team and your clients, you’ll need to visit them! Traveling for client on-sites and company events will be required for up to 30-40% of your time.

 

All applicants must have at least 4 years of experience in software implementation (preferably in a SaaS environment) or large scale, global project management or the ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of strategic professional services delivery methodologies and principles and their applicability to mature SaaS platforms.
Consideration provided for internal candidates that do not meet the job requisites, but have Manager approval and approval from the Hiring Manager.

 

This position reports into a Manager of Project Management, Professional Services, Strategic and will be based remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Work with clients to create a services strategy that focuses on business based outcome delivery. This consists of leading discovery and design workshops, developing gantt project plans, managing and forecasting resources, tracking and managing risk, building change management strategies, and fostering relationships with Strategic (e.g., Fortune 500) or global clients.

    • Target 55-65% billable utilization

  • Collaborate with key contacts, technical leadership, and our Customer Success department to execute custom statements of work and onboarding strategies for top Fortune 500 accounts

  • Partner with the account team during pre-sales engagements to present internally and externally as the services delivery expert — working closely with Strategic PSSC.

    • Target 5-15% client utilization (service sales support business development)

  • Help create efficiencies by developing and implementing repeatable processes and templates to ensure standardization where possible.

  • Create and manage custom services delivery timelines/project plans to ensure on time delivery of services and deliverables

  • Provide secondary project management support for NRR and ARR based services.

  • Own strategic delivery for per project, entity/subsidiary based, or other similarly scaled down SOWs while working with account teams to drive account growth.

  • Prepare reports and documentation via Smartsheet Client Workspace: Generate accurate and insightful reports on project progress, budget, and risks, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.

  • Remain current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors to build trust and create meaningful relationships among Champions and key points of contact within each account.

  • Provide the highest level of service and support to Procore’s largest clients through diligent and proactive communication.

  • Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to connect clients with Product Managers and Customer Success Managers to further client success and Procore’s evolution as a market leader

  • Working knowledge of Procore’s product offerings, and a deep understanding of Procore’s business model, services, emerging technologies, and services best practices.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 8 years experience managing or supporting large-scale services delivery, skills required:

    • Create and manage Gantt project schedules

    • Document Business Outcomes and Success Criteria

    • Manage and forecast resources

    • Manage RAID log

    • Build and deliver organizational change management strategies

  • A history of servicing large, complex organizations with complex web and mobile applications utilized for documentation management, project management, or similar.

  • Prefer experience related to Top ENR construction and/or financial SaaS industry, and Organizational Change Management Consulting.

  • Successful candidates are innovative, persuasive, creative, and have a genuine curiosity in their clients business. Goal and results oriented, optimistic, smart, value added mindset, proactive and easily adapts to change.

  • Deep understanding of value drivers and establishing standard operating procedures.

  • Successful management of projects and SOWs delivering $100K+ in professional services.

  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for project management and organization.


 

While our Implementation team works closely with all levels of our organization, including our sales team, this position does not include any direct selling-related tasks or activities. Our Implementation team is solely focused on ensuring Procore's clients are well supported, educated, and fully adopted on our platform.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $111,384 - $153,153 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $131,040 - $180,180. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
