Responsibilities:
- Perform regular application security assessments (code reviews, testing per OWASP).
- Analyze dependencies and manage vulnerabilities.
- Validate, report, prioritize, and verify closure of security issues.
- Participate in architecture reviews and perform threat modeling exercises.
- Take part in security audits.
- Assist in interpreting external penetration test results and support teams in planning appropriate mitigations.
- Support used WAF solutions.
- Stay updated on security trends and improve tooling.
- 3+ years in web application security.
- Experience with hyperscalers such as AWS, Outposts, Azure, and AliCloud.
- Experience with security tools and processes such as SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. OWASP, NIST, PCI DSS).
- Understanding of application security principles, secure coding practices, AI security.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, TS, JS, or Go.
- Understanding of security threats and attack vectors.
- Security certifications (OSCP, CEH, CISSP, BSCP) are a plus.
