We are seeking a Systems Administrator responsible for ownership, administration, and continuous improvement of the company’s internal Information Systems environment. This role serves as the primary operational steward of internal infrastructure, identity systems, enterprise software platforms, and employee lifecycle technology processes. The Systems Administrator ensures internal systems remain secure, reliable, compliant, and scalable. This position focuses exclusively on supporting internal company operations and does not support external client environments. 

Key Responsibilities

Internal Infrastructure Management 
  • Administer and maintain internal server environments, network infrastructure, and cloud services. 
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and identity lifecycle services. 
  • Maintain internal endpoint management, monitoring, and backup platforms. 
  • Ensure systems are patched, monitored, secured, and aligned with internal security and configuration standards. 
  • Coordinate with senior engineering resources for architectural guidance and escalation support when necessary. 
Software & Platform Ownership 
  • Serve as the operational owner of all internal software and SaaS platforms. 
  • Manage licensing, renewals, vendor relationships, and contract tracking. 
  • Maintain platform documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Implement role-based access control and least-privilege security models across all internal systems. 
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and security posture. 
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding 
  • Own and execute technical onboarding processes for all new employees. 
  • Provision accounts, licenses, devices, and access permissions. 
  • Coordinate workstation imaging and deployment according to internal standards. 
  • Execute secure and complete offboarding procedures including access removal, asset recovery, and audit validation. 
  • Maintain onboarding and offboarding documentation for compliance and audit purposes. 
Security & Compliance Support 
  • Enforce internal security policies and configuration standards. 
  • Monitor alerts, logs, and system activity for security or operational anomalies. 
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance initiatives. 
  • Maintain system documentation and evidence required for regulatory and governance requirements. 
Documentation & Process Ownership 
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal systems and processes. 
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, version control, and accessibility. 
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Required Qualifications 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role. 
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments. 
  • Experience managing SaaS platforms and enterprise software licensing. 
  • Experience with endpoint management and patch management platforms. 
  • Understanding of identity and access management best practices. 
  • Strong documentation, organization, and process management skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) 
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) 
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert Security Certifications 
  • CompTIA Security+ 
  • Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200) Infrastructure Certifications 
  • CompTIA Server+ 
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Preferred 
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Fortinet Certified Professional -Preferred 
Process & Service Management Certifications 
  • ITIL Foundation 
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt-Preferred Technical Skill Expectations 
  • Identity and Access Management 
  • Microsoft 365 Administration 
  • Entra ID and Role-Based Access Control
