What you will do as a Senior Software Developer at Illumine-i:
- You’ll develop and maintain code for the web application, ensuring that it meets the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
- You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, database administrators, and project managers to ensure alignment with the overall solution design
- You’ll write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate coding standards and best practices
- You’ll participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- You’ll debug and troubleshoot issues in the application and provide timely resolution
- You’ll develop and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, user manuals, and system specifications
- You’ll stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development and provide thought leadership to the team and stakeholders
- You’ll mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers to ensure the successful implementation of the solution
Must haves :
- 3-6 years of experience in software development, (preferred)
- Strong experience in developing web applications using modern web technologies but having the good clarity of development with HTML/CSS and JS.
- Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs using Django framework.
- Strong experience in developing front end application using React.
- Strong experience in database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong experience in Unit Testing.
- Experience in developing and implementing agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of software development tools and technologies, including Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of development with AWS.
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers
- 2+ years in a Senior developer role.
Great to have:
- Experience is PostgreSQL.
- Experience in development of any of the 2D/3D front end libraries.
- Creative and being able to work with cross-functional teams.
