The Big Picture: 
The Engineer will provide the QA and QC of Solar PV design engineering support throughout the post installation phase of the project.

What you’ll do:
You'll review the PV plans , including site plans, property plans, array layouts, electrical single and three-line drawings, and equipment elevations. The primary objective to verify the design with the installation and provide the clearance to acquire the assets.

Must Haves:
  • 12-24 months of experience in any industry and having design experience is great to have.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts/ systems quickly.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
 
Great to Have:
  • Experience or certification in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and or other cad-based software platforms would be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV system components, design principles, and installation practices
  • Experience in 2D drafting / 3D modeling software would be a great fit.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC, IS, NBC).
  • Experience with QA/QC processes and documentation.
