The Big Picture: 

The PV Design Engineer will provide Solar PV design engineering support throughout the design phase of the project.

What you can expect as an Engineer - Systems Design:  

• You’ll generate Photovoltaic designs using AutoCAD, including site plans, property plans, array layouts, electrical single and three-line drawings, and equipment elevations. 
• You’ll learn and adapt to new concepts/ systems quickly. 
• You’ll handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
• You’ll working in a fast-moving dynamic environment. 
• You’ll work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards. 

Essential Qualifications include:   

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with a specialization in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation. 
• 1-2 years of relevant design experience in solar PV or related industries. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD-based software platforms, including BricsCAD and Helioscope. 
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. 
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize designs. 
• Planning and controlling abilities to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong business communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments. 
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to meet project objectives. 

Great to have: 

• Experience or certification in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and other CAD-based software platforms. 
• Exposure to Aurora for solar PV system modeling and analysis. 
• Experience in 2D drafting or 3D modeling software to enhance design visualization.
