The Big Picture:
The BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of BIM methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

- You’ll be collaborating with project stakeholders to develop BIM execution plans tailored to specific project requirements.
- You’ll be leading the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards and protocols within the organization.
- You’ll be providing guidance and training to project teams on BIM software tools, particularly Revit, and best practices.
- You’ll be conducting clash detection analyses and resolving conflicts through effective communication and coordination.
- You’ll be managing the BIM model development process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
- You’ll be facilitating interdisciplinary coordination meetings and serving as a point of contact for BIM-related inquiries.
- You’ll be assisting in the creation and maintenance of BIM content libraries and templates to streamline workflows.
- You’ll be supporting the adoption of emerging technologies and processes to enhance BIM capabilities and efficiency.
- You’ll be participating in quality assurance reviews to validate the integrity and reliability of BIM deliverables.
Essential Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Proven experience in the implementation and management of BIM workflows on architectural, engineering, or construction projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software tools, particularly Autodesk Revit, with a strong understanding of parametric modeling principles.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and guidelines, such as ISO 19650 and National BIM Standards (NBIMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and resolving BIM-related issues.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to driving process improvements and innovation.
Great to Have:
- Professional certifications related to BIM, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or Building SMART certification.
- Experience with BIM coordination tools and platforms, such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Solibri Model Checker.
- Familiarity with other relevant software applications used in the AEC industry, such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices, including energy modeling and analysis.
- Experience working on projects targeting sustainability certifications, such as LEED or BREEAM.
