Senior Program Manager, Sustainability and Decarbonization - [Hybrid/Atlanta]

Location: GA, United States; Hybrid

This role will work across IHG, both internal and external partners, to drive progress towards IHG's decarbonization goal. Using a background in building science and strong program management skills, this role be a visible leader in identifying and executing existing and new strategies that drive progress towards decarbonization.

Provide guidance, leadership and support to internal and external stakeholders to advance progress towards decarbonization. 

Your day to day 

• Owns IHG's Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) work including piloting new measures; developing and refining Brand Standards for ECMs; supporting internal and external stakeholders in understanding and executing ECM Brand Standards.
• Develops and executes initiatives that progress towards decarbonization including but not limited to increased adoption of Low Carbon Pioneers prototype; supporting existing and new development hotels in geographies that are carbon restricted.
• Provides visible, active leadership across IHG in driving decarbonization agenda, including Corporate Responsibility; Brand; Operations; and all other partners. 

What we need from you

• Bachelor's degree
  6 to 10 years progressive work-related experience in built-environment decarbonization, building science, with demonstrated program management experience. Strong quantitative background is preferred. 
  Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment as a member of a collaborative team. Responsive to demands from multiple stakeholder groups and able to understand and balance consumer, managerial and ownership perspectives.
• High degree of personal drive, self-starter and able to work independently without regular direct/local management. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks required. 
• Understanding of external partners, programs and opportunities in the decarbonization and built-environment industries that can accelerate IHG's decarbonization progress.
• Ability to both analyze and communicate findings from data. 
• High level of capability and credibility in influencing peers and senior management across functions and regions. Must be challenging, diplomatic and able to work across all levels of the organization with strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commercially astute and able to develop credible ROI`s for design initiatives with a good ‘real world’ sensibility when applying strategic solutions.

Travel – 10%

Location – Atlanta, GA: Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is $119,000.00 to $130,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
