Data Scientist
Location: Gastonia, NC
IFAB Corp is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Data Scientist to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
- Generate insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Build dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with business units (e.g., operations, marketing, finance) to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate business initiatives
- Automate data processes and improve data pipelines for efficiency
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, or predictive modeling
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data mining techniques
- Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
