Full Stack Developer (MERN + AWS)
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, Express, React, and MongoDB
- Design and build RESTful APIs with a strong focus on performance and security
- Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway) for deployment and integration
- Implement end-to-end features across frontend and backend
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
- Participate in code reviews and best practices implementation
Required Skills (Must Have):
- Strong experience in Node.js & Express.js
- Hands-on experience in React.js (Hooks, state management)
- Good knowledge of MongoDB (schema design, queries)
- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway)
- Understanding of REST APIs & microservices architecture
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
Good to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Redis / caching mechanisms
- Exposure to Docker / CI-CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of system design & scalability
