Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and engineers in the successful execution of agile projects for a portfolio of software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, agile methodologies, and IT modernization efforts, with experience working with stakeholders in the life sciences industry, particularly with NIH NIAID.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and engineers in the planning, execution, and delivery of agile projects, ensuring successful project outcomes and meeting business objectives.
  • Oversee and mentor team members, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and customer stakeholders to communicate project progress, address, and achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Support the implementation and use of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to coordinate with other agile scrum teams in the organization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management, including project status reporting, issue escalation, and change management.
