Site Reliability Engineer, IBM Corporation, Austin, TX: Monitor the health of production and test systems. Respond to production and test system issues and alerts. Execute changes in the production and test environments manually or through automation. Assist the change requestors with troubleshooting issues that may arise. Partner with other site reliability engineering (SRE) teams, functional managers, and program managers to deliver mission-critical services to the market. Support development of new and existing capabilities for compute, storage, and network infrastructure services. Implement and automate infrastructure solutions that support company’s cloud products and infrastructure. Automate health monitoring of the production and test systems. Automate return to service procedures for cloud service delivery. Support the compliance and security integrity of the environment. Work with engineering to provide initial assessment and possible workarounds, troubleshoot, and resolve issue in production and test environments. Work with support and development teams to identify and resolve issues. Discuss and plan integration tasks. Provide technical escalation support for other infrastructure operations teams. Utilize: Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, DevOps, Cloud Computing. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related and two (2) years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, DevOps, Cloud Computing. $151,440.00 to $195,800.00 per year. Full time. V163.
