As a backend lead developer, you will lead a highly focused, self-managed Agile team that designs, develops & deploys mainframe product on z/OS. Your expertise in designing and building high performance, reliable, enterprise observability product on the mainframe will enable next-generation experiences for our customers. You will interface with senior technical leaders and delivery teams to shape, estimate, and deliver the product that adds value to our customers in their observability journey.
This position is for a experienced senior developer with experience in mainframe product development or mainframe application development using one or more mainframe subsystems (CICS, MQ, IMS and DB2). The ideal candidate has programming experience using Assembler/HLASM,C/C++ and using MVS services, in either product development or application development.

- Works as part of a project team, regularly communicating with project stakeholders on project progress and status.
- Capable of designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and maintaining the highest level of difficult computer programs. This position requires the candidate to be currently hands-on in Assembler coding.
- Performs root cause analysis to quickly identify and resolve customer issues.
