Description
The IBM Cloud Databases (ICD) team is responsible for developing and operating the Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings that provide Database as a Services (DBaaS) in IBM Cloud.
ICD is seeking an expert in Elasticsearch. The developer will develop configuration, scripts, and other tooling to bootstrap and allow Elasticsearch to run in our highly available Kubernetes & Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based Cloud Environment. The developer will participate in the design of the service, writing tools and automation, building containers, developing tests, determining monitoring best practices and handling complex customer escalations. The developer must have a deep understanding of the Elasticsearch server software, HA configurations, and general operations in a production environment.
