Description
The Data Engineer will implement methods to improve data reliability and quality, combining raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats. You will also develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling. You will use various methods to retrieve, extract, and transform raw data into useful data systems. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain data pipelines that extract, clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Perform both simple and complex exploratory data analysis
• Implement processes to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline process
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering
