Description
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Nearshore Advanced Technical Center, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:
- Work closely with critical stakeholders in using languages such as Java to develop the necessary specifications for software
- Proficient in stitch together end to end application starting from front end web development, back-end development, middleware integration and persisting data in no SQL or DBMS database.
- Read the design specifications of UML(class diagram/flow diagram) to develop the code to complete the functionalities needed.
- Perform thorough unit and functional testing of the code to ensure high quality products.
- Testing & automation of new software product features within the CI/CD pipeline
