Senior Platform Engineer (NYC)

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale the architecture that underpins our platform used to build agentic environments. This role will be central to creating reusable, reliable building blocks that teams can leverage across diverse AI use cases.

Success requires a strong grasp of enterprise architecture principles including security protocols, compute and infra management, identity and access controls, architecture design, and system reliability. You’ll be owning the complete lifecycle - from design through production deployment and on-call support.

In this role, you will:

• Architect, develop, and operate infrastructure connecting enterprise infrastructure (data, applications, platforms, ontologies, and other incumbent technologies) to LLMs with high performance and reliability

• Ensure platform scalability for major enterprise clients while maintaining stability

• Implement data access controls and authentication within production model and agent systems

• Partner with product, research, and forward-deployed engineering teams to optimize production deployments and task execution

• Own system reliability, including on-call participation for critical incidents

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• 6+ years as an engineering manager of a product or platform team, or as a senior technical product manager, within a high-performing tech or startup environment. Ideally experienced with enterprise products

• Have strong experience deploying and managing software systems in customer-controlled infrastructure and networks

• Experience integrating with core enterprise systems (e.g. Salesforce), modern data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake), context layers (e.g, Palantir), and various external APIs

• Proven ability to build reusable modules, SDKs, or internal developer platforms

• Experience supporting machine learning training infrastructure or GPU clusters

• Background at AI research labs, high-performance computing centers, or ML-focused companies

• Published work on distributed systems, infrastructure, or performance optimization

• Location: NYC

• Base salary range: $180,000-300,000 / year (plus equity and employee benefits on top) - specific offer will depend on experience and technical skill set

• Full time role
