Requirements:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
• Build scalable data pipelines integrating multiple data sources (databases, APIs, flat files)
• Implement data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment logic
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
• Design and execute test strategies, test cases, and test plans for ETL workflows
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation
• Develop automated and reusable validation queries/scripts
• Implement and monitor data quality rules and checks
• Identify, log, and track defects; ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Participate in UAT support, release validation, and production verification
• Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards
• Maintain detailed technical and test documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ETL and QA processes

Preferences:

• 4–6 years of experience in ETL development and data testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
• Proficiency in SQL for both development and data validation
• Experience in data warehousing concepts (SCDs, star/snowflake schemas)
• Strong understanding of ETL testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and profiling techniques
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with IICS Data Quality (IDQ) or similar tools
• Exposure to test automation frameworks for data pipelines
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation and validation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in data engineering
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
• Ability to manage dual responsibilities across development and QA
• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and improving processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
