Compensation range: $2,500 - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is an Australian business owner overseeing a growing group of businesses across several industries. The portfolio currently includes 11 childcare centres, with a further 6 centres in the process of being acquired, as well as a commercial cleaning business and a content and marketing agency.

As the organization grows, it is investing in technology, data, automation, and AI to improve internal processes, reporting, educator resources, and operational efficiency.

Role Overview: We are looking for an AI Automation Specialist to support both internal operations and content/marketing initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn clearly defined project briefs into practical dashboards, automations, AI-powered workflows, and digital tools. A key priority will be building a Power BI dashboard across a workforce of 300+ employees and multiple centres, alongside automating recurring processes and developing platforms that support educators with curriculum and reflection activities.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work initially with the content and marketing agency to identify and implement AI and automation opportunities across content, marketing, and internal workflows.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, including reporting across 300+ employees and multiple centres.
• Identify and automate repetitive administrative, operational, reporting, and data processes.
• Develop AI-powered workflows, tools, and integrations that improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Build or improve digital platforms supporting educator curriculum planning, reflections, and related workflows.
• Translate client briefs and business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Work with existing systems, data sources, APIs, and automation platforms to connect workflows.
• Support AI and automation initiatives across both internal operations and content/marketing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes through AI, automation, reporting, and better data visibility.
• Test, troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve solutions after implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the client through regular project check-ins and provide clear progress updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in AI automation, workflow automation, systems integration, or a similar technical role.
• Strong experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience with automation platforms, APIs, integrations, and business process automation.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and how they can be applied to real business workflows.
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources and turn it into useful dashboards and insights.
• Experience building or supporting internal platforms, digital tools, or workflow systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
