The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

The associate will:
• Provide support for current PCP and Specialist value-based programs
• Analyze, interpret and communicate program results to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead calls with engaged and prospective providers and answer questions about program operations, data, and outcomes
• Provide internal reporting on program results including financial analytics and assisting in program valuation
• Assist with numerous ad-hoc requests to support the evaluation of our program partners; Assist in production of recurring reports
• Assist internal and external stakeholders, including Corporate and Market leadership to evaluate and expand programs into new markets and business areas
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience with data interpretation and analysis (example: program performance and financial results)
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise, particularly in Excel: pivot tables, formulas, graphs, etc.
- Financial and business acumen; proven ability to put context around data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL or other relational database management systems
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBi or similar data visualization tool
- Familiar with Humana’s internal systems (EDW, Service Fund, etc)
Additional Information
This role is considered "remote/work at home" and can be based anywhere in the United States with the ideal candidate being located in the Louisville, KY region.
Work at Home Information
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
