Growth Partner Development Manager

Remote Bengaluru, India
Description
POS-26994

As a Growth Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will play a crucial role in building the next generation of HubSpot Solutions Partners with marketing agencies, consultants and systems integrators in India.  The PDM is often the entry point in the relationship between HubSpot and partner companies. You will need to focus on helping these partners build the proper foundation for a long term partnership with HubSpot. You will be eager to learn how to influence decision makers at the executive level, as well as the proven ability to interact with many stakeholders. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute tactically and communicate clearly. Success criteria for this position will be heavily metrics driven, which will require contributing to the build out of a scalable process to manage a large volume of partners.

You will possess a business background that enables you to engage at the CXO level and ideally a sales background that enables you to easily interact with end customers and sales/field reps.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and to build and convey compelling customer value propositions around the value of HubSpot's software.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Oversee a number of partners and prospective partners into the HubSpot Solutions Partner program
  • Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement, technical and go-to-market requests.
  • Enable partners to graduate to Core and Strategic Partner Development Manager (PDM) coverage
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, services, etc.) to improve process and execution
  • Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.
  • Develop and drive business and technical enablement plans at scale with partners to facilitate the implementation and operations of HubSpot products
  • Partner with the sales team to grow sales pipelines and manage meetings with potential clients
  • Drive promotions, contests and incentives as appropriate
  • Gather, organize, and report back partner feedback (both technical and business) to help improve the customer and partner experience
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 2+ years of experience in direct sales, partner channel development, business development, or sales development
  • 1+ years of experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency
  • Ideally has experience in the software (SaaS) industry and therefore has some understanding of SaaS go-to-market models
  • Hungry to learn; you receive and implement feedback well
  • Passionate and resilient; you’re not deterred by setbacks and enjoy the process of building relationships over time
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, especially in client-facing settings
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Works autonomously and pivots quickly to changing business needs
  • Cares deeply about customer-centricity and HubSpot’s mission of helping millions of organizations grow better.
