Job Summary
• This role is responsible for collaborating with multiple engineering and project teams through the entire development lifecycle. The role encompasses assessing engineering deliverables for compliance with product requirements, enhancing product quality and supporting all aspects of Issue Management and Change Management.

This role is also responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining internal software tools that cater to specific team/ business requirements. In addition, this role is also responsible for conducting data analytics to generate breakthrough insights to enable decision-making.

Responsibilities
• Collaborates with multiple project teams of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of product development to launch new products into production across multiple manufacturing sites

• Designs engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software/BIOS/Firmware, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines
• Represents the Electrical PE team for all phases of the product life-cycle (development through End-Of-Life) - including Issue Management and Change Management.

• Responsible for the technical quality of engineering deliverables.
• Evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
• Expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on engineering design and development; leads Design For Manufacturing (DFM) requirements.
• Provides domain-specific expertise and overall engineering leadership and perspective to cross- organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation by supporting the integration and managing deployment of new technologies (NUDs)
• Exercises independent judgment in resolving technical issues with quality and business impact.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.
• Drives process innovations/transformation leveraging Big Data, Data Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) & Artificial Intelligence

• Performs descriptive statistical analysis, develops visualizations, applications, dashboards, or presentations and communicates insights in a clear and effective way to help the organization with better decision-making

• Mines data using modern tools and programming languages.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including ODMs/Contract Manufacturers, and quality assurance teams, to define and develop specialized SW tools/apps to address specific needs/requirements.


Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in product engineering, quality/manufacturing engineering, engineering tools, or a related field.

• Experience in computer system hardware, firmware/BIOS, Data Analytics & SW programming languages

Preferred Certifications

• Programing Language/s Certification (SQL, Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or similar)

• Six Sigma Certification

• Project Management Certification (PMP)

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Project management skills

• Process Automation (RPA)

• Big Data Analytics

• Predictive Modeling.

• Python (Programming Language).

• SQL (Programming Language).

• Power BI

Cross-Org Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to executive level; mastery in English and local language.

• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

• Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
