Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our team. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver innovative hardware and software experiences tailored for the India market. The candidate will contribute to creating user-centric solutions and ensuring smooth execution of software initiatives as part of a larger team effort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of gathering user insights, analyzing market trends, and identifying pain points to define and refine product requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product vision, objectives, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineering services and partners/ISVs to ensure seamless technical integration and alignment with product requirements
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including roadmap, feature specifications, and detailed use case scenarios, with a focus on software product design
  • Define and track product success metrics, user engagement, and adoption post-launch to ensure continuous improvement
  • Conduct usability testing on prototypes or design mock-ups to gather user insights and validate product concepts
  • Drive brainstorming sessions and strategic workshops to identify and evaluate new product opportunities, enhancements, and potential feature sets
  • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark potential features, usability, and positioning within the market landscape
  • Create and deliver insightful presentations for stakeholders, focusing on proposed strategies, frameworks, and progress updates to influence decision-making

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software experiences for hardware products, and a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and its integration with hardware
  • Strong understanding of system software, UI/UX principles, and app ecosystems
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including experience with telemetry and analytics tools
  • Thrives in studying and analysing complex data, drawing data-driven insights and decisions, and transforming it into simple user experiences
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • ‘Entrepreneurial’ mindset and ability to adapt and navigate heavily matrixed organizations and thrive within a fast-paced environment
