As a Senior Frontend Engineer located in Barcelona team with focus on Vue 3, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable, high-quality user interfaces for our business applications. Your responsibilities include spearheading the development of innovative ideas and expanding our service offerings. We prioritize excellence and the adoption of cutting-edge technology across all aspects of our work, including deliverables, processes, and tools. Operating under an agile philosophy, we respond swiftly to market demands and customer needs. Our technology stack includes Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Amazon solutions (Redshift, EKS, CloudWatch), Docker, GraphQL, Kong API Platform, and test frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, and Cypress.

Requirements:

• Designed and implemented responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Vue 3, Vue Router, and Vuex for state management.

• Led the migration of legacy codebases to Vue 3, improving application performance and maintainability.

• Collaborated closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex design wireframes into high-quality, interactive front-end code.

• Integrated RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Vue 3 applications, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.

• Developed reusable components and front-end libraries to streamline development processes and maintain consistency across projects.

• Utilized TypeScript with Vue 3 to enhance type safety and code quality.

• Implemented end-to-end testing using Cypress and unit testing with Jest to ensure robust and reliable code.

• Optimized application performance through code-splitting, lazy loading, and efficient state management techniques.

• Mentored junior developers and conducted code reviews to uphold best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborated with back-end developers to design and implement efficient data-fetching strategies and improve overall application performance.

• Enhanced front-end build processes using Webpack and other build tools to improve development efficiency.

• Contributed to documentation and training materials to support onboarding and knowledge sharing within the team.

Preferred but not required experience with:

• Cloud services (Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure)

• Non-relational databases (mongoDB)

• Server-side Javascript (Node.js / TypeScript, expressJS, NestJS)

• IT Graduate with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent e.g. electronic engineering.

• Familiarity with SOA (microservices/message buses/etc)

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
