Senior Adobe Analytics Developer

Description -

Reporting into the Analytics & Reporting Team in the HP Store Organization, this key role is responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of HP's Global Web Analytics tracking solution on HP Online Stores and Marketing websites. This supports the measurement and optimization of HP's online business and worldwide digital initiatives. This position requires strong web analytics JavaScript development skills and experience of implementing Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics customer solutions using a Tag Manager in an Enterprise eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, QA, deployment, and documentation of Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics solutions using JavaScript, tag managers, and analytics tools.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex analytics data collection anomalies using web analytics testing tools and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, solution providers, and other development teams to design, develop, and publish analytics solutions.

  • Document new and existing web analytics solutions for developers and data analysts.

  • Configure and manage analytics solutions in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Ensighten.

  • Experience with server-side implementation and architecture is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience developing custom Adobe Analytics (e.g., “Omniture”, “SiteCatalyst”) solutions, including Adobe Analytics Admin, AEP, Adobe CJA experience.

  • Experience with migrating to web SDK from previous implementations such as App Measurement.

  • Experience with developing custom Google Analytics GA4 360 solutions.

  • Experience of deployment via tag managers is mandatory, GTM preferred.

  • 3+ years of advanced JavaScript development experience, including object-oriented programming in JavaScript.

  • Experience developing with the Document Object Model (DOM) and HTML, including single-page apps.

  • Experience designing and developing digital data layers, including the Google dataLayer with enhanced eCommerce.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Magento.

  • Knowledge of marketing and digital advertising technologies and practice.

  • Ability to work some time outside of normal business hours to teleconference with international teams and for emergency troubleshooting.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a field of study in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
