HP Anyware is the inventor of the PCoIP remote display protocol and developed the Engineering Emmy-Award-winning HP Anyware to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world.
Our exciting growth and continuing success means that we are looking for an energetic co-op student (Engineering or Computer Science or Physics) to join our Benchmarking team. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in designing, implementing, and executing benchmark tests to measure the performance of HP Anyware software components for our Anyware family of products and to assist in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain benchmarking frameworks and tools.
Conduct benchmark testing and analysis on Anyware products.
Prepare detailed benchmarking reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Automate and streamline benchmarking tests.
Requirements:
Students who have completed at least 2 academic years.
Hand on experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Individuals who work well with others, think outside the box and see raising the bar as part of the daily routine.
Bonus Points:
Experience in OOP languages such as C/C++/Java software development experience.
Windows or Linux application development experience.
Experience with multithreaded high performance programming with in-depth knowledge of CPU architectures.
Experience with Agile development approaches such as Scrum.

Full-time with possibility of extension and/or permanent career positions.
The typical base pay range for this co-op role is $3,700 to 5,000 CAD per month. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills and internal equity.
