You will be responsible to:

• Participate in the definition of User Requirement Specifications (URS), ensuring solutions meet user needs while promoting safety, ergonomics, productivity, and intended use.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering standards.
• Manage technical procurement activities by supporting supplier selection, ensuring multiple sourcing options, and approving purchase requisitions when required.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain engineering designs, standards, and technical documentation across all project phases.
• Control project budgets, schedules, risks, and resources to ensure successful, cost-effective, and compliant project execution.
• Supervise construction, installation, commissioning, qualification, and integration activities, coordinating internal and external engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, legal, environmental, health, and safety requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, proposing innovative solutions, and optimizing engineering processes, technologies, and productivity.
• Provide technical leadership by solving complex problems, supporting audits and authorities, coaching engineers, and overseeing engineering project execution.
• Foster collaboration and effective decision-making by managing uncertainty, resolving project issues, communicating key updates, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

• University degree, or equivalent qualification, in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation (mandatory)
• Relevant experience in the execution of industrial projects in operational environments;
• Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry;
• Proficiency in piping engineering software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx and Inventor;
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations;
• Excellent project management and organizational skills;
• Competent (written and verbal) English;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
