About The Role
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated Software Engineer with a growth mindset to join our mobile group -- someone who wants to have an immediate impact on a great product. What You’ll Do
- Take high-level ideas and transform them into live products, used by millions of homeowners and professionals from around the world.
- Create beautiful features for our various mobile apps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, product, design and more) to deliver rich mobile experiences.
- Write and ship clean code, share your ideas and collaborate with other colleagues.
- Own full feature lifecycle from design to deployment.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
- 3+ years experience working in Android development.
- Substantial experience developing Android apps. Have completed at least 2 apps that are available in the Google Play Store.
- B.S., or M.S., in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Good understanding of user experience design and development on Android and mobile devices.
- Experience with Kotlin - an advantage.
- Self-directed, independent and has experience owning complete features/products.
- Great problem-solving skills and a true passion for mobile.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- Mentorship - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
- Performance Optimization - Knowing how to use profiling tools to diagnose and resolve performance issues to enhance user experience.
- Staying Updated - Commitment to continuous learning about new technologies and best practices.
