Compensation: 4 500 - 6 000 USD per month

🚀 What you'll be doing:
This role is for a full-stack engineer within one of our Core squads, focused primarily on backend development with the expectation of contributing to the frontend.
- Design and develop scalable backend services and features using Ruby/Rails, adhering to high standards of quality and performance.
- Build new user-facing features and UI components using React.js to support Core product initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Manager and Designer to deliver solutions spanning the entire stack, from database to user interface.
- Maintain code quality by writing automated tests (unit, integration) and participating in code reviews.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and initiatives focused on improving service stability and code extendability.
- Integrate seamlessly with backend services (RESTful APIs) to ensure reliable data flow and consistency.
- Actively work with senior engineers to implement clean code, refactoring, and best practices within the squad.
🚀 Join us if you have:
- 2+ years of industry experience developing and maintaining commercial Ruby applications.
- 12+ months of demonstrated commercial experience with React.js
- Strong practical understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and backend system design.
- Ability to work independently on standard engineering tasks, from design documentation to deployment.
- Experience with Sidekiq or similar background processing tools.
- Ability to build new UI components in React.js.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs used to connect React applications to back-end services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English
- Data-driven approach to software development, prioritizing customer value delivery
- Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of emerging technologies
Bonus Points
- Working understanding of loosely coupled code and service boundaries.
- Experience contributing to large-scale systems or distributed architectures
- Experience working with high-availability systems and CI/CD best practices
- Experience with MaterialUI or other component libraries
This role is open to candidates inside Poland. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. #LI-remote
