Job Summary

As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable front-end applications. You will build modern user interfaces, integrate with backend services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.

Job Duties

(50%) Front-End Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js

• Architect reusable, component-based user interfaces that support long-term scalability and maintainability

• Design and implement integrations with REST APIs and complex JSON data models

• Build modern, responsive web applications using established front-end engineering best practices

(25%) Application Integration & Collaboration

• Develop and maintain applications utilizing micro frontend architecture and Module Federation

• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver end-to-end functionality

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions

• Perform code reviews and contribute to the adoption of engineering best practices

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers throughout Agile development cycles

(25%) Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Troubleshoot complex browser, networking, and application performance issues

• Deploy, maintain, and support front-end applications within AWS environments

• Contribute to application performance optimization and overall software quality

• Follow established coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 10+ years developing scalable/ high performant front-end applications

• Expert-level proficiency with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.

• Experience with Next.js

• Deep understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI design.

• Experience designing maintainable, scalable front-end architecture.

• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, async/await.

• Strong understanding of state management patterns (Context API, Redux Toolkit, Zustand).

• Experience working with complex JSON data models and API integrations.

• Proficiency with Git workflows including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, merge conflict resolution, and release management

• Experience debugging complex browser, network, and performance issues using modern developer tools.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Experience deploying and supporting front-end applications in AWS environments (Amplify, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, Route53, S3, ACM)

• Understanding of AWS networking and infrastructure concepts including security groups, load balancers, DNS, SSL certificates, and IAM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing micro frontend architecture.

• Experience with Module Federation.

• Experience with Tailwind

• Experience working with the business users or stakeholders to build and test UI components

• Experience with creating and consuming registries for ai orchestration.

• Experience with application performance monitoring and optimization.

• Experience contributing to shared component libraries or design systems.

• Knowledge of established coding standards and engineering best practices.

• Experience participating in architectural discussions and technical planning.

Salary Range

$140,000.00 - $170,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
