If you're excited about using data science and AI to improve member health outcomes while delivering meaningful value, Smart Care offers a unique opportunity to do both.
Smart Care builds intelligent, personalized solutions that help identify the right opportunities for our members and enable care teams to take the right actions at the right time. The work spans LLMs, causal inference, deep learning, and deep analytical problem-solving to turn complex clinical and behavioral data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
As the Smart Care Squad Lead and Product Manager, you'll operate at the intersection of product sense, technical acumen, stakeholder leadership, and user-centered solution design—shaping strategy, driving execution, and translating complex healthcare problems into solutions that improve member outcomes and drive measurable business value.
If building products that help our members while advancing our organizational goals excites you, we'd love to have you help shape the next chapter of Smart Care.
What You'll Do
What
• Create clarity around priorities, expectations, and shared outcomes for the Squad.
• Own the product backlog, facilitate problem solving, scoping, and prioritization, balancing near-term commitments with longer-term value. Run day-to-day planning and ceremonies, and champion Agile practices. Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate tightly with squad technical captains to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to data science, engineering and stakeholder teams.
• Support engineering and data science teams to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical feasibility discussions, and helping them to understand users and the business needs.
• Facilitate problem solving across teams, factoring in trade-offs between speed, scalability and quality.
• Align delivery plan to adjacent solutions to capture cross-portfolio value
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses.
• Collaborate with designers to create UX flows, wireframes and product designs.
• Define, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Support the establishment and maintenance of release-management frameworks.
• Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution.
• Support business case development and roadmap planning with stakeholders and leadership.
• Demonstrate strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills to influence decisions, build alignment, and drive adoption.
• Champion a data-driven, and innovation-focused mindset with a strong commitment to product excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, data platforms, AI/ML, and digital technologies, and identify opportunities to apply them across lines of business.
• Facilitate continuous improvement in product planning, execution and launch processes.
• Champion Agile methodologies and lean practices in product development.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that improve analytics product delivery, insight generation, and innovation across teams.
