UX/Product Design Intern

Location: CMX, Mexico

As part of the team, you’ll have opportunities to:

• Design and prototype customer-support experiences across web, chat, conversational, and AI-assisted interfaces.
• Explore how Generative AI and conversational assistants can make complex support interactions simpler and more intuitive.
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Apply and contribute to established design systems, reusable components, patterns, and interaction standards.
• Prototype concepts quickly so the team can evaluate ideas before investing in full development.
• Help explore emerging AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows, including tools that help move concepts from design toward functioning experiences.
• Partner with researchers to understand user needs via customer interviews and survey analysis.
• Partner with engineers to understand how designs translate into front-end implementation.
• Participate in design critiques, usability testing, customer feedback sessions, and iterative design.
• Help the team think through important AI experience questions such as user intent, confidence, transparency, error recovery, and transitions between AI and human support.

You’ll work alongside UX designers, product managers, engineers, and AI-focused teams on experiences spanning Customer Support, conversational and chat-based assistants, and emerging Generative AI tools. This isn't a role where you'll only produce wireframes. We're looking for someone who enjoys exploring how an experience works end-to-end, from understanding a customer problem and designing the interaction in Figma, to creating realistic prototypes and collaborating with engineers on how those experiences translate into working products.
