Advanced Test Engr

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

· 10+ Years of Relevant Experience in Performance Testing.

· Proficient in load testing tools like Load Runner (Multiple Protocols like web http/html, True Client, SAP), JMeter, 

· Knowledge on other load testing tools like Neoload is a plus

· Proficient in API management tools like Postman.

· Proficient in profiling tools like HTTP Watch, Fiddler 

· Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Test Scripts creation, scenarios, execution, reporting and Defect Management.

· Experience in Application Monitoring Tools like Manage engine, AppDynamics, Dynatrace.

· Hands-on experience in writing and executing performance test scenarios for complex systems

· Hands-on experience with performance test simulations, performance analysis, performance tuning, performance monitoring in an n-tier environment

· Perform analysis of performance issues in Pre-production and/or Production environments in the cloud and/or on-premises environments

· Hands-on experience in analyzing the performance results and reporting the findings. Capture/analyze/interpret technical data - performance metrics from the application, database, OS, and Network

· Keen eye for performance, security, and scalability aspects of the application

· Demonstrated ability to capture key metrics, create accurate status reports and effectively communicate to the leadership teams and stake holders

· Hands-on experience in defect logging, tracking and verifying defects

· Experience in performance diagnostics, capacity planning and performance architecture design

· Experience in Cloud (AWS / Azure) environment

· Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues, facilitate the resolution and necessary follow-up with Development and other cross-functional teams.

· Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, and Garbage Collection to verify the performance of the applications.

· Identifying memory leakage, connection issues and identify bottlenecks in the application causing performance issues

· Generate performance reports, graphs and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.

· Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.

· Good understanding of basic DB tuning, application server tuning, and common issues around performance and scalability.
