Overview:
The Engineer is responsible to support monitoring related solutions, which requires the ability to develop scripting language and technical troubleshooting skill sets. This role reports to the Automation Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise monitoring tool such as Zabbix within Hong Leong Bank environment. (Product training will be provided on the job).
- Create and deploy powershell / bash scripts.
- Assist in researching for innovative means to enhance the current monitoring implementation as well as new tool solutions, where required.
- Be part of after-hours support for the monitoring tool on a weekly rotational basis.
- Serve as a technical resource for incident investigation and change request implementation.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
Education & Qualification:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years working experience as a Wintel / Unix Systems Administrator.
- Working knowledge in powershell / bash scripting.
- Working knowledge in troubleshooting issues with SCCM, Active Directory.
- Working knowledge in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
- Working knowledge in troubleshooting RHEL, or other mainstream Linux OS such as Ubuntu, SuSe or Linux Mint.
