In this role, you'll be part of a global team spanning the United States, Sweden, and Poland, working on advanced Generation Management Systems (GMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and SCADA solutions that support critical utility operations worldwide. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, applying your expertise in testing, quality assurance, and power systems to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies based on business requirements, solution designs, and functional specifications.
  • Design and execute functional and non-functional test cases to validate system performance and quality.
  • Create and manage test data required for successful project delivery.
  • Utilize test management tools to maintain test scripts, execute test plans, and report progress.
  • Identify, track, investigate, and verify software issues in collaboration with development teams.
  • Support the full product lifecycle through continuous quality improvements and testing excellence.
  • Actively participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional team initiatives.
  • Mentor team members on testing best practices, quality processes, and risk reduction techniques.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or power systems-related environments.
  • Knowledge of EMS, GMS, SCADA systems, and utility operations, including AGC, Economic Dispatch, Reserve Management, or Generation Planning.
  • Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and software lifecycle management.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira/Zephyr Scale or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements.
