Staff Quality Engineer, CV

About the Role As a Staff Quality Engineer for Computer Vision (CV), you will lead the testing strategy development and execution for our CV technology. You’ll collaborate with CV scientists, developers, and product and design teams to deeply understand our tech stack, deployment platforms, and product requirements to enhance QA coverage, define testing strategies for new features, and champion best practices throughout the development cycle. What You’ll Accomplish Every day, you’ll work with engineers to define and execute testing for their work Every sprint, you’ll ensure every feature has test plan coverage, appropriate unit, integration, end to end, automation and manual testing Every month, you’ll share your expertise to level up quality across your team and our neighbors Every quarter, you’ll collaborate on release testing and validation to ensure quality of our CV libraries and cross-platform packages Hinge Health Hybrid Model We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience a Quality Engineer 3+ years as a QA lead driving the definition or evolution of testing strategies Experience testing software libraries and end-user applications, mobile and desktop Developer experience in C++ and Python Preferred Qualifications Developer experience in mobile applications such as ReactNative, native iOS, native Android Experience developing or testing interactive experience such as video games, AR/VR applications Experience testing CV-based applications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Qualifications de base 8 ans ou plus d'expérience en tant qu'Ingénieur Qualité. 3 ans ou plus en tant que chef d'équipe QA, conduisant la définition ou l'évolution des stratégies de test. Expérience en test de bibliothèques logicielles et d'applications pour utilisateurs finaux, mobiles et de bureau. Expérience en développement C++ et Python.
