Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics 12+ years of non-internship full time professional software development experience 4+ years of experience working on AI and ML related projects 4+ years of experience in designing and working in distributed systems based architecture, developing APIs and implementing scalable backend systems Extensive experience in mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and contributing to project planning and decision-making Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics Expertise with the AI/ML ecosystems at the PhD level and equally with Product managers and executive leadership teams to ensure iterative progress in a fast-paced environment Experience working with Healthcare/Personally Identifiable (PII) Data, and building healthcare compliant (HIPAA) data lakes Strong expertise with distributed Architecture, with deep exposure to API design & versioning, domain-driven design, event-driven systems, and microservices that serve both web and mobile frontends Experience with high Availability Systems, with strong point of view about telemetry, self-healing systems, buffers and queues, idempotency, disposability, and multi-tenancy Strong ownership and self-driven, with a passion for making a difference in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, working to identify opportunities and problems to solve, and match them with technology solutions from the industry, working effectively to address technical risks. At the same time, can work with senior leadership to outline the company’s strategic investments in AI initiatives Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $248,000 - $372,000.
