Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead/Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5-10 years of experience to drive quality assurance for our software solutions. In this role, you will lead the development of robust test automation frameworks and processes, ensuring high standards of quality across our products. You will leverage your expertise in data testing and tools like Python, NumPy, Pandas, Snowflake, SQL, and Teradata to deliver reliable and efficient test coverage. Candidates with immediate availability are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies using cutting-edge methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Develop and implement automated test frameworks and processes for both functional and performance testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and data integrity.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Advocate for test-driven development (TDD) practices and work with developers to debug and reproduce issues.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and deployment.

Desired Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java or Python with Selenium.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Core Java or Python.
• Expertise in web, API, and database validation testing with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, RestAssured, JDBC, Apache POI, JSoup, HttpClient, ExtentReport, Maven, and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in CI/CD integration, version control systems like Git, Jenkins, and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or QC/ALM.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and writing complex queries.
• Familiarity with web services (HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST) and testing technologies such as JUnit.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycles.
• API testing experience using Postman, Swagger UI, and Unix commands.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers and product owners, ensuring features meet expected quality.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Self-driven and able to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Subject matter expertise in the healthcare domain.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes, using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Background in the US healthcare industry is highly desirable.
