  • Act as the primary point of contact for critical escalations, driving accountability and ensuring seamless communication during high-pressure situations.
  • Manage and maintain enterprise virtualization environments, overseeing ESXi host and vCenter upgrades to ensure high availability and optimal resource utilization.
  • Engineer and support mid-level complexity AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging cloud services to optimize workloads, improve scalability, and maintain overall environment health.
  • Administer, optimize, and maintain critical business applications on Windows platforms, including SFTP, SMTP, MI2, and MC2 systems.
  • Orchestrate end-to-end Windows OS upgrades and legacy-to-modern system migrations, minimizing downtime and mitigating compatibility risks.
  • Design and execute robust build and deployment workflows tailored for Windows environments to streamline application delivery.
  • Manage comprehensive patch management schedules, ensuring all Windows servers remain secure against emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Spearhead PCI Audit handling and compliance readiness, ensuring infrastructure configurations and access controls rigorously meet industry security standards.
  • Own the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for major incidents, identifying systemic vulnerabilities and implementing permanent remediation steps.
  • Provide deep technical troubleshooting expertise across complex, multi-tiered infrastructure to maintain strict SLA compliance.
  • Oversee software and tool subscription renewals, forecasting budget requirements to prevent service disruptions for critical operational tools.

Skill & Experience Needed

  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud operations, or enterprise infrastructure management.
  • Systems Administration: Deep expertise in Windows Server environments, OS lifecycle management, patching tools, and core services (SFTP, SMTP).
  • Virtualization & Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter upgrades) and mid-level AWS cloud engineering (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, etc.).
  • Compliance: Proven track record handling rigorous security audits, specifically PCI compliance.
