WMS Project/Product Implementation Manager

About the Role

Reporting to the Global Director of WMS Support and Services, this hands-on position will manage the administrative lifecycle of our WMS product delivery via our Jira toolset as well as execute/manage projects for and implementations of our strategic warehouse management application [Koerber/HighJump ONE.] This role will have both an internal product focus to include coordinating product software feature function from design through rollout, as well as supporting system defect tracking. It will also drive activation/ rollouts to our existing fulfillment network, as well as cross functional focus working with peer teams in deploying solutions into incremental buildings in support of network expansion.

The position can have a hybrid working arrangement when responsibilities/ conditions support, but must be based in one of the following fulfillment center locations: Newark NJ, Irving TX, Phoenix AZ, Goodyear AZ, Aurora IL, Bolingbrook IL, Ontario Canada, or Edmonton, Canada. Travel to other facilities within the network is expected to be 20-25%. 

What You’ll Do

• Become a functional expert on our customized Koerber/HighJump ONE WMS application, working closely with our design, development and support teams.
• Develop, manage and execute project plans in support of new WMS implementations for HelloFresh brand company locations, coordinating as needed with peers in cross functional teams.
• Own & drive the administrative function that controls and tracks our WMS product development lifecycle through Jira.
• Partner with the WMS design, development and support teams to coordinate with operations on the network rollout of new software product feature functionality, including preparation of training and any needed supporting materials.
• Partner with IT/  Infrastructure teams to drive the proper and on-time sourcing of any needed hardware equipment for any WMS related projects or implementations. 
• Represent the Fulfillment Technology (WMS) team as needed with any cross functional programs;  working with colleagues in operations, quality, automation, procurement, or upstream enterprise technology.
• Manage, develop and mentor a team of (1-2) analysts seated in US fulfillment centers.
• Coordinate/ partner with other WMS colleagues in developing/ managing changes to WMS integrations to other platforms.
  
  
  

You Are

• Able to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Experienced in managing WMS implementations or projects.
• Someone with both a strong supply chain operational process focus and strong technical aptitude.
• A strong communicator (both written and orally) who has the ability to work collaboratively and inspire/ motivate others in a team-based environment.
• Oriented and inspired to mentor and further develop your team and support their career growth goals.
• A roll up your sleeves type who is comfortable working with individuals at all levels of an organization.

What You'll Bring 

• 2+  years of experience working with a WMS in an RF based distribution, manufacturing, or e-com fulfillment environment; direct experience with Koerber/HighJump ONE WMS is a plus.
• 2+ years of hands-on management experience working with technical teams.
• 2+ years experience leveraging project management tools and managing IT projects. Proficiency in Jira is preferred but not required.
• Some proficiency in SQL, as well as working in spreadsheet tools (Google sheets, Excel).
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience: Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering Degree preferred.
• The willingness and flexibility to adjust to alternate work hours as occasionally required to support a 24/7 warehouse/production operation.
• The willingness and ability to travel to different HelloFresh facilities in support of projects or platform rollouts or general team development.
