Team Lead - Data Engineering and Forecasting ANZ

The role

We are looking for a self-motivated, curious, and intellectually driven leader to head a team of analysts and data engineers. Your mission: scale our data infrastructure, improve data quality, and enhance accessibility.

Bring your mathematical and statistical expertise, paired with a unique curiosity and creativity. You'll wear many hats, focusing on building Python ETL processes and writing exceptional SQL. Beyond technical skills, you will communicate complex data trends to  leaders across the business. If you're ready to dive in and help us maximize our data potential, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do

• Lead and own all analytics on our supply chain performance, including financial, error, and operational excellence KPIs.
• Advance existing forecast models to reflect an increasingly complex product offering.
• Identify new growth opportunities to scalably grow our operations and drive efficiencies.
• Provide analytical support on new business cases and ventures as needed.
• Develop scalable reporting solutions and prioritize projects based on potential impact.
• Lead and grow your team.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across markets (New Zealand, Australia, Berlin, London) and various supply chain and product initiatives.
• Own the storytelling by communicating powerfully and promoting data and tool literacy among stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• 4-5 years experience in an analytical or data role (Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Analytics)
• Prior experience as a manager or team lead. Track record of upskilling, enabling, and developing a high-performing team
• Comfortable managing ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enthusiastic about problem-solving 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  and ability to build strong relationships with multiple senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners 
• Team player, willingness to learn and help share best practices with others.
