Senior iOS Engineer - Productivity Platform, Foundations Alliance (m/f/d)

The role and the team 

HelloFresh has expanded rapidly as a technology organization going from just over one hundred engineers to almost one thousand engineers in the last few years. As part of scaling as an engineering team, we’ve created the Productivity Platform tribe to be responsible for unleashing mobile developers' productivity across the company. The team has the following four major focus areas: architecture, automation and release (CI/CD), observability, and application performance. What you’ll do

• Support the mobile engineers on feature teams across HelloFresh by improving our release process, working on fundamental architectural challenges and core shared components.
• Build tooling to automate day-to-day mobile development tasks and improve developer experience.
• Automate, improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release process.
• Bring observability for the core mobile development metrics - tests stability and coverage, build time, app performance 
• Proactively take care of core mobile metrics such as app launch & build and compile time.
• Contribute to the learning and advancement of our Engineering Best Practices, as part of our engineering community, while offering mentorship to other colleagues

What you’ll bring

• You have relevant experience in iOS mobile development, ideally within a mobile platform team.
• You have strong proficiency in Swift and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of software development best practices, including Design Patterns, Clean Code principles, Agile methodologies, and Testing.
• You can support the team by monitoring, measuring, and optimizing key performance aspects of the application, such as startup time, build efficiency, and memory consumption.
• Experience with React Native is a plus.
